Status: Retired (2026-02-09)

Summary

The custom ChromaDB + SQLite knowledge base system was retired. Functionality now covered by OpenClaw built-in memory_search.

Reason for retirement: Redundant with platform-native capabilities.

When to reconsider: If knowledge base exceeds ~1,000 documents or 10 agents.

Current Architecture

  • Knowledge Base = Tech-Pub docs/
  • Agent Memory = Per-agent MEMORY.md + daily logs
  • Archive = ~/archive/ (not indexed, not searchable)
